The Best Thing

The best thing about a new blog, in my oh so humble opinion, is creating it. Especially on Blogger, where it's so very easy. I get to play with colors and fonts and pictures. Heaven, I tell you. And a great way to procrastinate writing...

What deadline???

  1. Hey, Heather! Your new blog looks great...Yup, I love the whole process of choosing colors and fonts, too, although I'm never satisfied and have to try out every possibility! You can imagine the nightmare I go through when painting the house...takes about 12 tries to find the perfect shade.

  2. Great start, Heather. I started out with Blogger ( http://reasonforblogging.blogspot.com/ ) and I try to keep it synced up with my wordpress blog site.
Yano, looking at your name on the cover of Weeding Out Trouble, you could clip out the part with your name and use it for your banner on this blog.

    Good luck with it.

  3. Hi Jessica! Good to see you over here. I was hoping you'd be at Malice--maybe next year?

LOL on paint. I'm with you. It's nice to be able to buy the little tester cans and not a whole quart, isn't it? I was in a tile store the other day. The choices! It was a little dizzying.

  4. Thanks, Will. I haven't figured out how to run WordPress on my own. I'm not that technologically savvy. Maybe someday...

  6. Hi Heather-I can't wait for your new book to come out, and I'm bummed that it's your last in the series. However, I love the new blog and the colors are great. Good luck with deciding on the final layout of this newest venture! BTW, are your comments supposed to be in a separate window, or do I need to tweak my computer?

  7. Thanks, Katie. I like them too. Soothing!

Becky, I don't know why the publisher pushed the book's release till summer. But it's worth the wait, I promise!

And the comments are supposed to pop up. It's a new format I'm trying. Not sure if I like it yet, but that's the wonder of Blogger--so easy to change on a whim.
