Totally Random Confessions of the Day

-I have a Dr Pepper chilling in the freezer because a slushie Dr Pepper is my all-time favorite kind.

-I eat cottage cheese straight from its tub. Hey, I'm the only one in the house who eats it (everyone else thinks it's disgusting), so I'm not too worried about cross contamination.

-I eat Reese's Peanut Butter Cups from the outside in. I nibble all around the edges, then eat the center.

Hmm. Seems I have food on the mind. Maybe it's time for breakfast!

Do you have any food-type quirks?

  1. I drink coffee.All.Day.Long.

Which is why I have a kidney stone at the moment but I can't get off the full strength bean juice.

I eat my Hostess Ho Ho's and Little Debbie Swiss Rolls...after they have chilled in the freezer.

  2. Dru, I love cooked blueberries but not fresh! LOL. I'm not big on fruit pies either, except apple with a big whopping scoop of vanilla ice cream. :)

Lisa, decaf at all???? I get jittery after one cup. I haven't had a Ho Ho in years! I don't think they have them here in Ohio. I might have to do a little "research" to see if I can find them!

  3. After being on vacation for a week & eating lot's of yummy banana nut muffins from the hotel lobby I've learned quite a lot about my muffin eating quirks!

I realized I always split the muffin vertically down the middle & then eat each half starting at the bottom & working my way to the yummy part of the top (the side with all the good stuff)! I didn't pay attention to it until this past week, strange.

  4. Glad to know I'm not the only one! I totally eat my Reese's Peanut Butter cups that way too. They are my favorite!

  5. OK, confession time! I must say, food confessions are MUCH more fun than any other kind...

I'm addicted to Lay's Kettle Cooked Potato Chips. Can hardly eat another kind. I certainly don't buy anything else.

Not much into sweets, but when the craving hits: circus peanuts, jelly fruit wedges, and - YUM! - marzipan!

My cravings tend toward the savory ... dry Italian salami (oh!), aged cheeses (mmm), olives (ah!), big German pretzels, Thai food, sushi, roast duck with crispy skin, anything with lots of garlic in it ...

OK, I am now salivating and really hungry. Maybe I'll go make some popcorn (ooh, that's another thing -- I almost can't watch a movie with popcorn to go with it -- and I watch A LOT of movies).

All right, Heather, you've opened a can of, um, sardines? Ha ha!

    :D
