Okay, we all know what a master procrastinator I am. We all know I also have a deadline on March 1st. So am I writing my little hiney off? Kind of. Just not on the witch book! I've been working like crazy these past few days getting A Hoe Lot of Trouble ready for Kindle, Smashwords, Nook. I would have posted the cover I made for it, but it wasn't very good. The concept is good--I just don't have the skills to pull it off! While I wait for a cover to be designed (it may take a while, so I might just put up a placehold cover in the meantime) I decided to upload one of my short stories. Sweet Dreams should be up on Amazon sometime today. And even more exciting news, my book (never before released!) The Cinderella Plan, will be up by the weekend as well. So exciting.
I love revisiting these old characters! And it's so interesting to reread the Nina Quinn books and The Cinderella Plan--I can see the progression of my writing, and I can see where Lucy Valentine was born. Really fun to recognize that.
Today--I'll be doing some revising on Cinderella--and lots of writing on Darcy Merriweather's story--she's my wishcrafter, a witch who can grant wishes using a wishing spell. Her book (working title is It Takes A Witch, written as Heather Blake) hits shelves next January (which I suspect will be here before we know it!), and of course, Lucy Valentine's next story comes out in TWO weeks!!! So excited to see it on shelves. :)

I'm so proud of you and so excited!!!!!
ReplyDeleteI'm loving all these new-to-me stories that you're putting out there. I already downloaded Sweet Dreams and hope to sneak a peek while at work and read it.
ReplyDeleteWoo Hoo! That is great news! Can't wait to read Sweet Dreams and The Cinderella Plan. I am looking forward to Lucy Valentine's next adventure.
ReplyDeleteMan I really wish I had a Kindle. I am really feeling so far behind the times. Maybe I'll get one for my birthday in June.
ReplyDeleteI was bummed that I can't read these (don't want a Kindle, no way, no how!) until I saw I can read them on my PC! Yay! Just bought "Sweet Dreams" and will buy "The Cinderella Plan" as soon as you tell us it's up!
ReplyDeleteThanks, everyone! So hoping you all like the new stories!
ReplyDeleteBJ, I was going to tell you that you can download the stories straight to your computer, but Mississippi Mama beat me to it. It's very easy through Amazon.
