Bits

- I'm at The Naked Hero today, recounting my latest centipede experience. (When will they leave me alone????)

-I'm busily working on the witch book these days. My due date is 3/1, and of course I've let it come down to the wire. So if I'm a little scarce in the next couple of weeks, that's why. I need to stockpile some chips and chocolate to see me through.

- Anyone watching American Idol? I really like this current season. The focus seems to be on the good singers instead of the bad. I like the new judging panel, too, and don't miss Simon at all.

-Anyone in the Cincinnati/Dayton area? I have a couple of signings coming up. Just click on Events on the upper left for details.

- As busy as I am, I have been reading. A bit. Trying to stay on top of those New Year's Resolutions. I'm really looking forward to Lorraine Bartlett's newest, which came out this week.I have it downloaded--just need to find some time to read.

What are you all reading these days?

  1. I'm reading A Catered Thanksgiving that was to me for review. I was expecting it back in December, but it didn't arrive until last week and now I'm under the gun to get it done. I read A Crafty Killing in early January and I loved it. Enjoy! As soon as our tax refund gets in I'll be downloading to my Kindle app some of your Nina Quinn mysteries. Looking forward to them.

  2. As a matter of fact, there's this book, "Absolutely, Positively," that came out on Tuesday by this fabulous author who lives in the Cincy area name Heather Webber. Have you heard of her? This series is great and if you haven't read it yet, what are you waiting for?

I also read "A Crafty Killing" by Lorraine Bartlett and this is another great book. Lorraine also writes the "Booktown" mystery series as Lorna Barrett.

Now I'm reading "To Have and To Kill" by Mary Jane Clark and I'm liking it.

  3. Read A Crafty Killing and loved it; then after reading Tina Folsom's blog on the WG2E website, I downloaded her 2 western novellas and devoured them.

I still have the rest of the February releases to go, but hope Absolutely Positively comes in today's mail so I can start that tonight :)

  4. Another reader who started Absolutely, Positively when it downloaded on the Kindle (pre-ordered in November!). I'm loving it!

Got a few more cozies lined up - it's definitely cozy weather.

  5. Can't wait till your next baby book is born :)

Like Dru I am also reading #3 in the Lucy Valentine series by the divine Mrs. Heather Webber. This series is Truly, Madly one of my all time favorites. Heather will leave you Deeply, Desperately wanting more Lucy. I highly recommend her, Absolutely, Positively!

I also finished Buttercream Bump Off by Jenn McKinlay last night. I am also going to start on Sleeping With Anemone by Kate Collin's soon. I guess I'm in the mood for a mystery with a little love and romance on the side.

  6. I just discovered your series after reading the "Magic" series by Tracy Madison, which I really enjoyed and wanted something similar. I started your series and coincidentally found Aboslutely, Positively the day it came it out - what a kick. These are both a great series and am loving the Kindle app for my iphone.
