The This and That

Sometimes I sit back and think about what a great life I have--and am so grateful. I think it's easy to forget that, especially when life is a bit stressful, but really, I'm a lucky girl. And I know it. And I'm also so thankful for all of you. Can't tell you how much all of you mean to me. :::group hug:::

Group hug!
Okay, enough of the mush and gush and on to catching up!

It's been a busy week.

-If you missed the announcement on my Facebook pages, I'm going to be writing a new witch series (as Heather Blake)! This one is set in the South and is centered around a love potion shop. So much fun. I don't have many details (like a title or when it will be out), but I'm so excited.

-Last week, Mr. W, Baby Girl, and I visited three colleges. It's been interesting to see schools we've already seen with son #2 through my daughter's eyes. I'm very curious where she'll end up, but for now we're looking at a mix of schools--small (teeny!), medium, and BIG. The academics of the bigger schools appeal to her, but she prefers the campuses of smaller schools... Maybe medium will be just right! We have lots of time to figure it out--she'll finish up her junior year next month.

-Son #2 was here for Easter weekend, and on Sunday, he mentioned going back "home." Meaning, college. SOB!!! So not ready for him to think of any place other than right here as being his home. They grow up so darn fast.

-Son #1 has already gotten a promotion (YAY!), graduates from his Army training school (in AZ) soon, and will be transferred to Fort Bragg (in NC). I'm so proud of him! And thrilled that he'll be much closer to home. North Carolina is just a (long) car ride away. He's not sure how long he'll be stationed there before being deployed overseas, but I'm in denial about that anyway. One day at a time, right? And lots of visits in between.

-PERFECTLY MATCHED, the fourth Lucy book, is coming along! I love Lucy. And Sean. And Preston. It's so fun being in their world again. Cannot wait to share it with you. Am aiming for May 15th. I can do it, I can do it, I can do it... Send me some good writing vibes, okay?

Wishing you all a great week!

  2. How many more colleges do you plan to visit? Is she thinking anything further out west or east? (I know that is not what you're thinking)

    Congrats to Son#1.

Congrats to your new series and hope you have continued success in the series you're writing now (Lucy, Nina and Darcy).

  3. Yippee for another witch series! Is this in addition to your Wishcraft series? AND yippee for Perfectly Matched! Are you self-publishing as an e-book? Have you already said and I just missed it?

  4. Thanks, Anon!

Dru Ann, we're not sure. At least three. Will probably be more, though...

Hi Kristin! Hopefully there will be more Darcy books--I haven't heard yet. Yes, self-pubbing Lucy. Are you on Facebook? Lots of updates there, on my pages.
