And since I really can't physically escape, I'm heading to my bookshelf.
Problem is that I have so many unread books, I'm not sure which to start with.
Which means I'll probably go back to a tried and true favorite. My all-time, Calgon-take-me-away book is Son of the Morning by Linda Howard.
Suspense, romance, kilts, sigh.
My copy is worn and wrinkled (dropped it in the bathtub once), but it's comfort.

That's hilarious ive dropped so many books in the bathtub! My go to is "the summer house" from Jude Deveraux.
