Recently I've had a bad case of the knock overs, which is closely associated to the ailment called the dropsies. I'm not sure if it's contagious, but you best be careful just in case.
Last weekend, I knocked over Baby Girl's full glass of water, spilling water all over her bed and on her floor. Then, this week while I was dusting, I knocked over two cast iron bird statuettes, sending them plummeting to the hardwood floor. I still feel sick about the big gouges they made in the floor (as an aside: this is yet another reason I shouldn't clean). And just yesterday, I knocked Mr. W's glass (which was thankfully empty) off the kitchen table. It dented the floor, too (ugh!).
So, if anyone has tips for repairing wood floors, I'd love to hear them. And also, if I see you this week, and you stand next to me, this is your fair warning.
