The Bits and Pieces

I'm feeling this meme this week.

And this one, too.

It's clearly been an interesting week. BUT, Son #2 and Baby Girl are going to be coming home for fall break. It's just four days here, but I'll take every second I can get. Other big family news is that my daughter-in-law is finally back from Afghanistan (hooray!), and son #1 is beyond happy. We're hoping to see them soon.

I'm still plugging away at Potion Book #2, which I hope will get its official title soon. My editor liked the one I suggested, but we're still waiting for final approval. The writing is slow-going, as I'm still setting up all my plot lines. I'm a very linear writer, so I have to make sure everything is JUST RIGHT before I move on. It's a frustrating way to write, but it works for me. Kind of. LOL.

This weekend will be all about family time and around-the-house chores (like painting the garage!). I'm wondering how long it will take for this new house to finally, truly, feel like our house. I'm not sure, but I do know that this weekend it will feel like home.
