The Catch-Up

It's true. I do. I need a crown or a sash or something, because I'm the queen of procrastination. In fact, I'm doing it right now--I should be working. I'm almost at the end of writing the fifth Lucy Valentine novel, Undeniably Yours, but here I am updating my blog. Why today? Why right now? I have no idea. The mood hit, so here I am. Don't judge. ;)

I've been working like a fiend, which is great for my readers, but is crazy-making for me. And possibly my family (don't ask, don't tell?). Son #2 and Baby Girl are home for the summer now, and that makes me a happy mom. Love having them back in the nest, even if it's only for a little while.

In case you missed it, The Goodbye Witch came out last week. I adore this book. It's a little different so I was worried about how readers would like it, but so far so good. Whew. I couldn't be happier with how it's been embraced.

There are a couple of giveaways for the book still going on if you search around a bit. Like this one over at Lily Pond Reads. While you're there, check out the lovely review, too. "With a touch of romance and some magic, this was a very heartwarming and really enjoyable read." How sweet is that?

Okay, have to get back to work, but if you're up for a little procrastination, I have a whole board you might like over on Pinterest: Procrastination Nation. I just can't help myself...

  1. So happy to hear from you, Heather! I am several chapters into THE GOODBYE WITCH and, of course, am loving it! I have my suspicions and ideas about the whole Kyle situation, but it's still very early in the game. No dead body yet. I am wondering if there will be one. You did say above that this book is a little different...hmmmm. Don't want to say anymore so as not to spoil anyone who happens to read my comment, but hasn't started the book yet.
