Insanity

Yeah, yeah, I know I've said this before, but this time I really mean it.

I'm going to try and cut back on the Dr Pepper.

Stop laughing. I'm serious.

This time, I'm going to try the weaning method. I'd like to get to a place where I only drink DP occasionally or on the weekends. Not everyday. Every. Single. Day.

Wish me luck. I'm off to Google healthy lunch recipes...

  1. Are you going to ease into the 'less is best' of DP, or go cold turkey?

I did cold turkey for smoking, and after three days of my family and friends hiding the knives and avoiding me, all was well.

  2. Did you know they actually make Dr. Pepper popsicles? Hmmmmm - Yum-Yum!

  3. I've been drinking the 20 oz. bottles, so I think I'll switch to the cans and try a can a day, a can every other day, etc., until I'm fairly weaned. Wish me luck! And congrats on the quitting smoking. I hear that's really tough.

Ann, I bought some, but they just weren't the same for me. My kids liked them though!

  4. Dr. Pepper is ok, but Coke is the real thing. ;)

  5. I'll believe it when I read it, dear sweet Dr. Pepper fiend.

I quit smoking too. Cold turkey. The BEST decision I ever made.

  6. I'm doing pretty well with the Dr Pepper. I've cut down to a can a day. Haven't made the leap to skipping days yet, but am working up the courage. :)

J&J, Coke is good in a pinch, but I think Dr Pepper has an addictive additive... Nothing I can prove. Yet.
