Who Knew?

That cosmetic surgery was so darn popular? In Ohio? Specifically, my town.

After trying for over a year to (mostly unsuccessfully) cover-up a broken capillary on my face, I finally decided to have the sucker zapped off, via a laser. I called my dermatologist to make an appointment, and even though I'm an established patient the wait to see the cosmetic dermatologist in the practice is over three months!

Holy smokes. That's a lot of lasering.

So, I wait. Three more months--then let the zapping begin.

Until then--does anyone have any cover up recommendations that will hide a bright red splotch? Just, cough cough, wondering...

  1. Okay, I have to warn you that I'm not unbiased, since I sell the stuff, but I really like Avon's Smooth Minerals concealer. It hides all my age spots, freckles, and red blotches amazingly well.

Feel free to check out my Avon store (I'm selling Avon until I have a book to market...it's good practice) at http://youravon.com/adashofy.

  2. I was going to say the same, it doesn't cake or clog pores. On me it lasts most of the day, too.

  3. Heather -- I have my capillaries lasered all the time. In between I used Clinique's Redness Reducer. It does a pretty good job.
