On the Road

I'm hitting the road tomorrow, headed to a writing retreat with two of my critique partners. I'm hoping for non-stop writing for the most part--I have a lot of work to catch up on--and on Saturday we're taking a field trip to a book festival for part of the day.

My goal is to get at least twenty pages written. Actually, I'd like more than twenty, but I'm trying not to be overly ambitious. And I'm really looking forward to having some girl time. It's a necessity, don't you think?

And some exciting news: I'll be spending part of the weekend with the lovely, talented Jane Porter. It's going to be sooooo hard not to go all fan-girl on her. I'll try not to embarrass myself--too much.

PS: It's Thursday so I'm at The Naked Hero talking about endings. Or lack of them at least. Hope you'll come by.

  6. Thanks! I think you all have more faith in me than I do. I AM curious to see how close I get to 20 pages, though. :)
