Ta-da!

(I need a new camera phone--the pic quality is awful!)

The kids and I spent yesterday afternoon finishing up the penguin puzzle. It goes fast toward the end and we all took turns placing pieces until the very last one. Lots of fun, and I treasure the family time.

Today is writing, writing, writing because the week ahead is busy, busy, busy!

How was your weekend?

  1. Yea for the puzzle!!!!!

I think I need another retreat to start writing!! I did get 50 pages of quick line edits done and some major decision, but as for writing-ZERO!
I hope you come back and we really buckle down.

It was great seeing all our author friends we hang on the web with!

  3. Five pages is better than zero. I'm glad you had a good time, sometime just hanging with the *girls* does a lot.

Great job on the puzzle. Now that it is done, what are you going to do with it. One of my friends made a placemat out of her finished puzzle.

Tonya: editing 50 pages is akin to writing.

  4. Jigsaw puzzles were always a part of my family growing up. There was always a bit of competition when it got down to the last few pieces to see who got the honor of fitting the last piece in. This often led to my brother hiding one of the pieces. He would wait until we were just about done and then when we started looking around for the final one, he would produce it from his pocket and gloat that he got the last piece in!

Glad you had a nice weekend! Mine was fun and relaxing and way too short!

  6. Oh thank goodness, no more neat little rows of pieces. I was getting an inferiority complex.

Glad you had a good weekend. You got five more pages written than I did.

  8. Great job on the puzzle. I never would have had the patience to complete it. And since I know that, I know I would never even try to start it. :) I liked puzzles when I was a kid though, so maybe I'll pick one up and go for it.....something that is much easier than one where all the pieces look the same!
