The Quiet Sunday

The temps are dropping again here in Ohio--lately it's been really mild. 50s and 60s, which has been wonderful. This morning, there's lots of charcoal gray clouds and a (finally) a feeling of Christmas in the air. I'm up early (can't seem to sleep past 7 anymore), and checking FB, Twitter, email, etc. Soon, I'll turn off the Internet (gasp) and start writing.

These are perfect mornings to write. It's so quiet in the house. Everything is peaceful. There's nowhere to go until tonight. Nothing pressing to do. Ideal conditions to let creativity flow. Which I hope it does. :) (See, now I've probably gone and jinxed myself.)

At some point this week, I have to think about Christmas. Seriously think about it. Start shopping (I have one or two little things). Decorate the tree. I think I've been putting it off because it'll be just the three of us. Me, Mr. W, and Baby Girl. A new normal, I suppose, but one that will take some adjusting to on my part.

It's time like these that I realize I'm not so fond of change. <g>

Last week was crazy busy, and the week ahead looks to be busy, too, but for today... Peace and quiet. I hope you all are enjoying it too.
