The Crazy Busy

I had an amazing time in Chicago this past weekend! Denise Swanson and I had four events over four days ranging from simple signings to a sit-down dinner (which was an absolute blast!). I met lots of new people and was able to catch up with some who've become friends over the years. I wish I'd thought to pull out my camera more often, but I only managed two pictures. TWO. Shameful. Luckily, some readers (you know who you are!) have been sending me copies of their pics so I have some documentation of the weekend (thank you!!!).

Since I returned home, I've been busy working on my book that's due October 1st. Deadline craziness has set in (which involves lots of Dr Pepper, chocolate, and whining, not necessarily in that order). I have some more traveling coming up, and we're in the midst of a bathroom remodel. I've been painting all day and it shows. LOL. I'm a good painter (one of my better talents), but I'm a messy painter. (Understatement.) Keep your fingers crossed that the project is done by the end of the weekend (and to our neighbors, I promise that the old fixtures will be off the front porch soon).

If you're in the Ohio/NE Indiana/N.Kentucky/Southern Michigan area, I hope you can make some signings I (with the Deadly Divas) have coming up in the beginning of October. Here's the lineup:

  1. I had to look up Walnut Street in Dayton. You should have just said you're at The Greene. I know where THAT is. I'll try and stop by (provided I remember!!!).
