The Vacation Pictures

Me preparing a picnic next to the Swift River

Dipping my toes in. Water was COLD.

Swift River -- gorgeous isn't it?

Me and Baby Girl at the trail head leading to Sabbaday Falls

Sabbaday Falls

Son #2 headed down Mt. Adams. He and Mr. W hiked/climbed (4000 ft vertical) the second highest
peak in NH without me and Baby Girl. We went shopping instead.

Rafting on the Androscoggin River.
Having an absolute blast.

Nothing like a face full of water, eh?

Holding on for dear life (toes tucked into side of raft).

Me and Brandy, our fabulous guide.

Splash fight at the end of the second run with another raft.

Had an incredible vacation--wish I could go back tomorrow!

  1. Heather,
You look like your having a fantastic time. My eldest boy and his family love white water rafting also. As for myself, I'll stay on the shore with one of your books, reading under a tree.

  7. Awesome pics Heather. Thanks for sharing. I would have opted for shopping too. I like to hike, but that looks like a bit much for me. Also, I'm with NoraA - I probably would have preferred to be on shore, under a tree, reading a book - or at least walking BESIDE the water rather than riding IN it. However, it looks like you all had a great time. Vacations are too short, tho, aren't they?

  8. Love the pics! I am so glad you enjoyed the river rafting. It is one of my favorite things to do....though there are no rivers near me. But, I will be going on a raft trip in Canada next month. Yay!
